Ancient Sculpturing of Tantalos

The Museum of Antiquity

Tantalos was an Ancient Greek man, cursed by the gods for killing his son and offering him to them as a sacrifice. His punishment for his crimes was to forever stand in a pool of water he could not drink, and forever under a fruit tree which he could not reach.
